Aidan Strealy - 2019 Student Finalist
Aidan is a junior at Lakeridge High School. When Aidan learned about the Micro Marathon and its support of foster youth, he decided to bring it back to life through countless hours and a passion for the cause. Aidan organized volunteers and logistics, ordered t-shirts, chose a benefiting organization, and learned all the facets of running an event. His compassion for other children was his sole inspiration, and he was able to organize this event which drew 129 runners while maintaining his demanding school schedule and training with his cross-country team. He also volunteers at his church and as a lifeguard and swim instructor at the Lake Grove Swim Park.
